need to pick up grant hill, ron artest and a big. maybe someone who can catch the ball, but somehow try to keep odom. we have the offense, defense is the key
Marcus Camby will be a good asset, but it would be so hard to get him.
while the nuggets were in the playoffs there were sources that nuggets were looking to trade him in the off-season because of the emergence of nene and also kenyon martin is coming back next year.

Not down with Camby in general. This does make me worried about us possibly losing Lamar - it would only make sense for Kwame and that would mean we would be giving up Lamar and Bynum for JO. Who else would the Lakers give up to get Camby? Not Luke. Maybe Vlad Rad I suppose. Camby’s a phenomenal defensive talent, but damn, we were ruined by injuries this year and Camby does not have a good track record.

1. Remember Laker fans the Lakers still have the 1st rd¨pick and
the Lakers can get somebody for defense and offense.
2. I think it would be a long shot to get camby who are we going to offer KWAME BROWN??? no way the dnver is gonna accept that.
Lakers are going to get JO. Lamar is good basketball player but he is so iconsistent and we cannot have that kind of player if we are going to be champs.

First off I don’t think this trade will happen. I don’t see Denver giving up their best (really only defensive player) and one of the best rebounders in the league.
But.. unlike alot of you I think Camby (if he stays healthy) would be great. He is an amazing defensive player and rebounder can make a 15 ft jump shot, a 10 pts 12 rbs player. The lakers don’t really need any more offense its defense that they are lacking. When they were healthy at the beginning of the season they were playing great offense. where they were lacking was defense and rebounding, which someone like camby would fit perfectly.
I don’t know how this trade would work though. The lakers might have to give up to much for him unless denver wanted to get rid of him and have some cap space.
well the nuggets have to trade marcus camby because they said they want to resign nene next season n order to do dat they would have to trade marcus camby for salary cap room.so yeah they do have to trade him……
