Bucher says KG to Phx. is not “dead,” but pretty much NOT happening at this point. Doesn’t think KG will get traded tonight. But we’ll see… I like the fact that Lakers may be working UNDER THE RADAR.
But doesn’t it also depend on who gets that third team to work with them? If PHX throws marion at the bobcats, aren’t we screwed? We would have to count on marion declining that trade as well.
I wouldn’t worry about amare anymore. D’Antoni already said they aren’t gonna do it. Plus I read something from the Suns forum where a user said something along the lines of, “we aren’t trying to trade amare, ESPN is trying to trade him”.

Actually they shoulda traded him to dallas because they were offering dirk for shaq straight up. But noooooooo, cupcake and buss didn’t want shaq to be on the west. Look at shaq now, aging and useless almost. Dirk on the other hand gets better each year.

I’d love to get KG in a lakers Uniform but if he does go to the suns I hope that they have to trade amare not just marion. Bevcause getting Garnett only makes them alittle bit better but having both amare and KG that would be horrible (for every other team).

Andrew Perna of RealGM is reporting that ESPN’s Andy Katz just received a phone call from an NBA executive, regarding a blockbuster deal. Katz repeatedly said the words “I won’t say anything until later.” The name Kevin Garnett was mentioned several times.

Actually that was two sided Mavs were hesitant to make that deal as well. It was just a rumor I don’t think any deal with the mavs was even considered.

I have NEVER put a timeline on WHEN the 3-way deal through the Bobcats will occur. All I’ve been told is that THIS is how the Lakers will obtain KG if KG is going to be traded. Remember, it’s McHale who ends up pulling the trigger for it to happen or not happen. If he doesn’t, then the TWolves will get back less if he tries to trade KG before the February trade deadline.

Did you guys know that the Lakers are the ones who caused the KG deal to Lakers to breakdown?? yes, yesterday am570 reported that The Lakers wanted KG to waive his trade kicker which he denied and also KG was asking for 2 year 44 million dollars extension. that would of cost the Lakers about 96 million dollars just to get KG. Also the Lakers didn’t want to take on Jaric’s and Hudson’s contracts.
am570 are pretty much all idiots that dont know what there talkin’ about with the exception of the ones that start from 7-11 at night, I think they ‘kinda’ know what they’re are talking about.
