What upsets me the most about this trade is that the Lakers tied thier own hands in getting a 17 year old center with no experience at all at number 10 2 years ago. Everybody in the sports world questioned why the Lakers would pick this kid up, When we have a Veteran as our center piece. That pick just completely destroyed any chance we had at Garnett or any other big name Player. That pick may go down as the worst pick ever in Laker History. We didnt have 3 to 4 years to waste on a Player that barely played highschool basketball. Dr. Buss should be ashamed at what has transpired this offseason. Its his fault and his alone. Hes lied to Kobe and us fans. Again Im not pissed about Garnett going to our worst enemy. Im just pissed That we were lied to by the owner of this Lakers team.

According to the Loose Cannons (AM570), Paul Pierce was instrumental in convincing KG to play with Boston, calling him up at least once a day.

dude i would trade bynum in a hear beat he is not going to be some one special, he is going to end up like the candyman remmber him?? what is he doing now?? bynum is not going to be a special center or anything i get rid of him and keep odom. some people might disagree with me but bynum is nothing and will never be something.

KG went to Eastern conference and that’s the good news. The probability of Lakers and Celtics to meet in finals is very low. Just Imagine Garnett with Suns or Warriors… So be thankful he didn’t end up with our Western enemies.
It’s time to end KG Funeral and refocus on other Lakers Issues. He is “dead”, no more tears for KG, and please let us bury the leftover of our affection for KG with him. God bless his soul and he may rest in peace.
