IMO,the trade demand by JO was intentional and planned by JO and Kobe (friends for the past 14 years) during JO’s visit in LA. Think about it for a moment; Kobe’s trade demand weakened Lakers position; other teams are taking advantage of the fact that Lakers must appease Kobe. JO’s trade demand to the Lakers balanced out positions on both sides. It’s just a fair game.
Regarding JO to the Nets, it is a tough deal: Nets are paying $34-Mil just for Kidd and Carter, add $20-Mil for JO and they will pay $54-Mil (almost salary cap) just for 3 players. Also, preferably, teams don’t trade within the same conference, with the Nets and Pacers being in same conference. Remember what JO said “LA is far enough….”
Damage is done and Pacers’ position has been weakened no matter how many interviews they give. It’s all documented, black on white and on audio tapes.
I tried this trade on the trade machine and it works. I don’t want to give up Odom, BUT if we have to, this is the trade we can make!!!!!!!

JO should annoy the pacers organization and Mr. Bird Brain so more maybe Bird just send JO to the Lakers for a package around Bynum then LO. Anyway, the pacers want youth and shooters so I see Bynum and Farmer as great tools to build around and they are pretty young. For the shooters I see Cook and Radmonivic. Plus 1 or 2 more first round picks to help them out some more. I see this is a great deal for both teams.

The Faze that is the best trade we can do, but I don’t think it will happen because Larry Bird won’t accept that deal. If we can pull that trade off, that will be a comlete steal for us. I don’t know about you guys but I’m hoping and praying that we can convince them to take that deal!!!!!

In contrary, GG creators, are paying all the expenses form their pockets to give the fans a sanctuary to express their opinions and affections for their beloved Lakers. I admire and respect them for the fact that they are true Lakers’ fans.
Marketing and retail has been my profession for many years. I know too well that changing a brand name can kill a market and I also understand their reluctance to change the name. Unfortunately, the “GetGarnett” as a brand name became irrelevant as soon as he was traded to Boston. No matter how they turn and twist it or change the meaning or change the face or change the color or change whatever, that brand name is not marketable anymore. It’s a fact they have no choice but to accept and deal with properly.

Are you serious??? Sasha is perhaps the most useless player on the Lakers. His defense consists primarily of flopping, (Expected since Vlade Divac scouted him), couldn’t make an outside shot in the playoffs if his life depended on it, and whines like a little baby. The guy is utterly useless….useless I tell you.
