Was this rumor brought up by Hacksaw?

Because if so, I'm already blowing it off as BS.
Yep. Anything he says shouldn't be mentioned. In fact, why does he have a job--oh right because people still listen to him. Look at all the Laker boards talking about it. You would think after a few years people would wise up on Hackshaw. The fraker who said Artest and JO were done deals to L.A among other false rumors he spewed. Let's not forget that now!

Nocioni Can't be traded until Dec 15th.

Whoever made up this rumor forgot that fact.

AB4sure's point in my mind is valid. No need to panic to trade Kobe.

ESPN Roundtable guys assume the best time for a trade would be around '08 draft. All will get more value then. Not in a rush deal. Dr. Buss is not going to give away Kobe, his own words.

In the mean time, Kobe is here for at least the season. Let's enjoy it and hope for the best.

Losing brought about this dissension between the Buss's and Kobe. Winning may or may not change it back.

Kobe will only stay with the Lakers if we advance to the conference finals. Anything less he will wants out.
It's a given. I think he loves the franchise history, the fans but hate the FO and Buss. So at this point he rather go to Chicago and try to win there, since the East is much easier than the West.

Sorry guys, look really bad at this point for us.
Kobe has been in the middle of every mess that has been the Laker soap opera for the past 4 years. Phil is in bed with the Busses (literaly) and wanted Kobe to be traded once before. If he likes the pieces they get in return for Kobe i think he will stay. Am i the only one who thinks there is a possability that Phil stays if Kobe goes? Or am i just smokin whatever it is that im smokin?
I think he will stay either way. Although PJ wants to keep kobe as a talent he also still finds it hard to coach him. He might feel relieved like alot of laker fans to see kobe go. He knows kobe has his strong will and if Kobe wants out you can't stop him. One thing for sure is the lakers need to get some quality young talent back. No need to trade quickly, and perhaps in the meantime once the season starts, and if the lakers start winning kobe might change his mind. Who knows.......
