i dont think it’s the best option to sign antoine walker, but if it comes at an affordable (cheap, veteran’s minimum) price, then i would give it a shot. walker is a veteran and he can bring some toughness to a soft lakers team right now. 3 bigs that like to live beyond the arc (walker, radman, cook) isnt necessarily what the lakers need, but his value as a former all-star player, seasoned veteran, and one time nba champion will be valuable to the lakers even if it is antoine “shimmy” walker! he could sure add much more depth to this young lakers team anyhow, so yes, i would give it a shot if he’s available.
y u guys hating on walker so much? come on now he’s definitely better than sasha, cook, and coby karl. if we can get him for a good price we’d be silly not to jump at that. who cares if hes fat and old its not like hes gonna play 35-40 minutes a game and be an x factor in the 4th quarter. it just adds depth and grittiness that we’ve been lacking for years now. if not walker then where the hell is chris webber? can somebody find out please? he’s still a free agent right? there’s still ways to salvage this team with kobe on it.
I would take his 3 ball for cheap. Someone will beat the lakers to it though. Dont worry guys, Mitch has a hard time signing or trading for anyone.

For the vet min it might be worth it, simply because it does not cost really much of anything (Buss would have to pay luxury tax on his salary but like 40% of his salary is paid for by the league, something like that) but no way do you trade for him.
