He is actually 2nd in the league (19.2) in rebounding per 48 minutes just behind Camby (20.5). He is really improved this year. He is stronger, quicker, more confident and in better shape. He still makes mistakes (last play in the NJ game) but he is clearly showing his potential. The kid is a monster on the boards. Once he learns a little more of how to pick his spots on help defense, and defensive rotations he will be pretty good. Probably a 20 10 guy a night. In a few years he will be one of the best big men in the league along with Howard (who by the is completely dominating this year) Yao, and Oden (if he comes back strong from this injury).

haha i read on another thread that someone wasn't happy with bynum's 11/11 average... apparently he should be getting 15/15 lmao

11/11is just fine for me... if anything though 15/11 would be more welcome

keep bynum for now, and i don't think we should trade for JO anymore even though he WAS an all-star before, but now i don't think he is going to make it even close to the all-star team this year. TRADE ODOM!!!

bynum will continue to develop and gain experience this season. hopefully, by next season, the lakers will be able to acquire some much needed veterans and perhaps be able to sign an all-star caliber player to help kobe and the lakers. i hope that jermaine o'neal will opt out of his contract and join the lakers next season. i will openly accept jermaine, but i will not make a trade for him.

if we can get our hands on jermaine next season and sign some veteran and with kwame's contract coming off the books and off the roster but i think we can sign him for lower salary because he can be a defensive stalwart for us in the post because he can at least do that fairly well, the lakers will be serious contenders in the league.
