Thorn regarding Jason Kidd:

“They’re going down,” the Nets president admitted last night, with a trace of relief and derision.

Because … why? Have they finally caught on that it’s futile to try to steal the Nets point guard?

“Yeah, you could say that,” Thorn replied with a laugh.

Are the calls picking up with regard to any of his other players?

“One or two,” Thorn said.

Though Thorn refused to name names, it is widely assumed that the most sought-after Net is Sean Williams, with Richard Jefferson (and his $12.2 million salary) a distant second.

if the lakers have a chance of getting kidd without trading Lamar, Kobe, Andrew, Jordan, Luke, Trevor, or Vlad than do it
if the lakers get kidd i know they will win the championship

  3. 3 SliqRiq

No way you give up Lamar and Turiaf, not for those set of players

If you want Kidd you lost your mind. I do not want Kidd on the Lakers. Kidd can’t shoot. To me I take Coby Karl anstead of Kidd. We have all the gards we need we just need a star power forward.

  7. 7 Jack

Would have, should have, could have…Mark my words, the Lakers will manage a deal for Kidd hours before the trading deadline.

  8. 8 Majic "Big" Johnson

We really do not need Kidd. We just need a very good power forward.
That will give us the chance for a championship.

However if he falls in our lap.. so be it!

Plus of course a first round pick

So our team would look like this
    1st team
    J. Kidd
    K. bryant
    T. ariza
    L. odom
    A. bynum

    2nd team
    D. fish
    S. vujacic
    S. williams
    R. turiaf
    C. mihm

and crittenton alternating at point and shooting guard
this could definitely be a good squad
