Milo the b*tch - You gotta be kidding me?? You really think loser was spelled looser?? I spelled loser right. HA HA HA You're dumber than I thought. HA HA HA That's so funny.

Just so you know (from thefreedictionary.com)

los-er
a) One that fails to win: the losers of the game
b) One who takes loss in a specified way: a graceful loser, a poor loser.

Now I know whatever you say in the future is completely wrong because you are truly, without a doubt, the biggest stupid a** at this site (bigger than phantom, and I didn't even think that was possible).

You have proved my point. You are a L-O-S-E-R

P.S. Please don't have any children.

P.S.S At least you spelled pathetic right, but then again that's what you are.

Milo the b*tch: Like I give a rats a** what two of your loser friends say and if them agreeing with you "makes your day" as you put it, then you are pretty pathetic (as originally suspected).

I think the STD choice of Critt was correct. Props to you Avery for making the tough choice. While Ronny, and Lamar (2nd half pretty much) did have rough games, and while Critt only did play a few minutes there are a few things that make the choice valid.

1st off - We are all hyped on Critt. I know I am. I think the kid has huge, HUGE potential, and given more experience he can probably shine as one of the better PG's or SG's in the league.

2nd - Critt wants to play. He worked hard in the summer to take Jordan's spot, and it became a great mini-rivalry.

So here's the important stuff. At this point in the year, and in Critt's NBA life, 3 minutes of his time on the floor he has to treat differently than Ronny does a quarter, or Lamar does an entire game. They have more experience and respect from the coaching staff.

For Critt, you only get a few chances from the Zen master. These 3 minutes were golden for him, a perfect chance to show his skill, but instead of flounders. Not saying Critt doesn't have the potential, he just didn't show it that day, and if you combine our hype for him, with his desire to play, you just have to give him the STD. Keep in mind this is just one little stretch of the game, but it represents a lot for the rookie.

Having said all of this, the STD should have been Luke. hahahaha j/k

I hope this will be the last comment for this topic. Critt should earn his minutes. He should prove in those minutes he plays. Only then, we all can be pleased. Merry Christmas. All I want for Christmas is a W for Lakers.

Well we both have our opinions. I'm not saying hes a bad player or anything. If I could redo it, it would be Ronny...but id still like to see crit play with more confidence. he looked shaky out there and NY took advantage...they ran 2 at kobe and forced kobe into fadeaways...im not judging him as a player..ive seen him play enough. i just want more confidence...phil is teaching him, always be ready to play

Critt as STD??? You have to be joking. He plays for three minutes, misses one shot, a couple inches too long which he didn’t hesitate to put up when kobe was double team and you give it to him??? Yes, he looked uncomfortable but none more so than Lamar when he is out there with a couple of minutes left. In fact, lamar looked so out of it that he just drives toward the basket and runs directly into a guy for charging and he fouled out. This has to be the worst call for STD yet.

Avery,
Does this have to do with Sasha being one of your favorite players and your trying to keep Critt down??? I like Sasha he adds a new dimension and contributes off the bench, but he is just temporarily holding Critt’s spot.

Abs,

I thought Phil made a good call putting Crit in. It’s great experience for the kid and probably figured Kobe would just take over anyways. The plan backfired when the Knicks doubled Kobe off Crit’s man leaving Crit wide open. So what happened: Crit got a wide open look, hesitated and missed a shot. Then, the next 3 touches, he was still kind of open but didn’t even look for a shot. He wasn’t smooth. You could tell he was nervous. I love Crit–think he has some great talent. But tonight, he just looked like a rookie. It’s nothing bad, but I just thought he looked awful yesterday….thanks for the feedback.

Steve

First of all he didn’t hesitate on the shot, and in the last few minutes he was looking to get the ball to kobe which is a smart guy. He was “kind of open”??? He did the right thing in giving kobe the ball. I didn’t see a turnover or taking a bad shot or bad defense. The award for STD should have more to it than just a player looking uncomfortable and nervous.

fishback,

Again, How can you fail a test that you have not even taken??? 2 minutes here three minutes there in garbage time is not a way to evaluate talent. Summer league means crap??? That is ignorant. Why do they have scouts there??? to evaluate talent of which you obviously can't. Why do they bring kids in for a workout??? Listen you have to give the kid playing time whether it is in spl or nbdl or nba you can see how talented, how skilled, how he plays with others, well some of us can. Obviously you missed the boat and probably missed the boat on Bynum and would have rather traded him for kidd. When Critt proves himself on the NBA level like Bynum is doing now don't run away. Just admit you were totally wrong.
