Now I know you're all too young to remember the 80's, but back then guys off the court wore that style! They weren't sports shorts, no, just regular shorts for going ANYWHERE! They were the norm, TONS of guys wore that style, and we just called them shorts, not short-shorts! If you don't believe me, just check out Flicker under 80's and shorts, and see how many people have pictures of theirself wearing those NORMAL shorts! there was alot more questionable calls than just that one but yes that one was important
