Kobe is MVP,Player of the year and Best on the planet, here,at Lakernation,POINT BLANK.It's really tooooo early to say their championship caliber team, especially without AB(Kobe said they were but now the injury).I still fel they'll a lot better in the playoffs,no one will want to play them.DF made big difference in this team by coming home.It seems everyone has picked his leadership skills, even Ariza has gotten the bug. When Kobe wins MVP,he should share half with DF.LAKERSRULETHEWORLD.com.

In time T-LackofLakerFaith - You make it seem like last year they weren't playing well, but then again a majority of their players were injured last year so no one knows for sure how good they really were last year, but now we are seeing that this year, the team is pretty good, pretty damn good, but you fail to realize it. Bynum's injury is another unfortunate event that will cloud how truly good this Laker team is.

Again, your rants continue to prove you know absolutely nothing. You keep talking about the Pistons, Spurs, Mavs, Suns, and Jazz but you don't realize the Lakers have done the same EXACT thing as those teams have to now be a championship contender and that is the Lakers HAVE DRAFTED WELL!!.

Spurs - They drafted well. They drafted Tim Duncan, which wasn't a hard choice becuase they had the #1 pick in that draft. Ever since then, the Spurs have never been in the lottery. Furthermore, they drafted Tony Paker and Manu Ginobili, AGAIN THEY DRAFTED WELL.

Mavs - They drafted well. They drafted Josh Howard and Devin Harris (washington drafted harris on behalf of Dalls in a trade), which are two big contributors to their current team. Furthermore, the Mavs acquired Dirk in a trade for Dirk after he was traded (again, the Bucks drafted Dirt on behalf of the Mavs).

Suns - They drafted well. They drafted Stoudemire and they drafted Shawn Marion.

Pistons - They drafted well. They drafted Tayshaun Prince and this year's resurgence has come to the fact that drafted Aaron Affalo and Rodney Stuckey and even Jason Maxiell.

Jazz - They drafted well. They drafted Deron Williams (who is the true difference maker on that squad) and Andrei Kirilenko. And if you bring up Boozer and Okur, the Jazz did not trade for them. The Jazz signed them as free agents because they were under the salary cap.

Quiz time idiot, what do all these teams have in common...THEY ALL DRAFTED WELL!!! The Lakers have recently drafted well in selecting Andrew Bynum, Jordan Farmar, Javaris Crittenton, Ronny Turiaf and yes even Luke Walton (but you fail to acknowledge this). You keep saying that you don't like the job Mitch has done, but he has drafted well and I have just proved that to be a "championship" team, like the one's you mentioned, you have to do something really good and that IS DRAFT WELL.

Ab4sure...there are other teams making great basketball decisions without throwing money around and contending! see Pistons, Spurs, Mavs, Suns, Jazz. I have a problem with Mitch throwing money around and we're still losing. Kwame extension, Cook extension, Luke extension, Mihm re-sign, not trading Lame-Ar this off season. You can't defend it man..look at their performance last night and get use to it. This is not a championship caliber tean as you WILL SEE!

We find out that you and kobe were Wrong. They do value winning before profit margin, but that doesn't mean you don't think about cost. Hell, Cuban didn't resign Nash because Nash wanted another year and more money. Did Cuban value winning or profit margin there??? NO the lakers try to make good basketball decisions. Give me good basketball decisions from an organization, not someone who just throw money around.

You probably work your ass off on your job. Go ahead and call your employer an Idiot. See what happens. Why don't you get off this trip of the FO??? Even Kobe said he wish he would have done things differently this summer. Every night now Kobe is thanking the FO for not completing the trade to Chicago. For not trading Bynum for Kidd. For giving him, a championship caliber team. It is about time you start thanking the FO for giving you a championship caliber team to root for.
