I really think that we are going to get a good idea of what the next 25 games or so will bring us depending on how we play Thursday night. We have the lead in the Pacific division, and the Western Conference right now but obviously noone seems to think that will last very long.

This is one of the few times I’ve ever seen where a team simultaneously takes the conference lead and starts to get counted out. There is no other team the Lakers get up for more than the Suns. And I think the same goes for Phoenix.

I live in Phoenix and let me just tell you all….they HATE us. They are jealous of all of our success, and now they are all getting scared. Everytime you turn on the radio you hear shit talking about the Lakers. Every suns game on TV (including tonights) they talk shit about the Lakers. At the end of the game their “announcer” Tom Liander (who makes Paul Sunderland look like Chick Hearn) said “So the Lakers take the half game lead over the suns temporarily”. After they lost to the Clips tonight. Like it’s a foregone conclusion that they will get the lead back?!

Anyway, I don’t even know what I’m talking about anymore. I guess if anyone is still reading this anymore, then my point is that I just really hope the Lakers realize that the team concept on offense, and the aggressive athleticism on defense is still our key to success. nd that we can be very very successfull if we stick to it, even without Andrew Bynum.

Living in Phoenix and bartending here. Where I have to put up with these stupid fans every night. There is only one thing on this earth that makes me happier than a Laker vicory. And that’s a suns loss. Thursday is a statement game. We have had time to absorb this injury and let it all sink in. We know what we have to do. It’s time to go out and show the NBA world that we are #1 in the west for a reason….and we aren’t going anywhere without a fight. what beter way to do that than to whoop the suns for the 3rd time this year without Bynum?!?!
