Yea but Kobe brings it everytime no matter who he's competing with. So im sure he'd cook up something creative. I don't think he'd win, but he'd come up with something more creative than Green's smelly-socks-under-the-legs-has-been-done-100-times dunk.

First of all you dont have to lie about being at the venetian...

and I'm a huge basketball fan and I dont think the lakers need a high flying center that can only dunk in a real game... drew has better overall game and in one or two years we will be having this conversation again when drew is the MOST dominant center in the game!

this howard versus bynum debate reminds me of the shaq versus tim duncan argument. shaq is showing signs of being a broke down cadillac (he might be fixed for a while but he's got a lot of mileage) while duncan's still the focal point of his team's success.

You're a f'n idiot if you think Howard has a post up game and is going to get better. Unless Howard develops a post up game and can create his own shots, then he won't get any better (he's hit the ceiling). Howard does NOT have a post up game nor does he have the ability to create his own shot. Howards gets 90% of his points on dunks off of missed shots and a few points when he gets to the free throw line a shoots his regular 50% at the line.

As AB4Sure said:

"bynum 16/13/3/2 howard 20/14/2/1…pts,reb.blks and assists.. per 36 minutes plus bynum has better post moves, hands, higher ceiling and two years younger."

Bynum has a decent post up game now and is getting year after year. Most people are just enamored with Dwight Howard because of his power, but there is more to the game than power. Bynum is going to be a much more complete player than Howard. In my opinion Bynum is already a better defender and shot blocker than Bynum.

no nescessarily, but I think this is a pretty good and consistent explanation by Wiki.

Why are you guys giving Dwight so much sh•t?
He seems to be a cool dude and as far as Kobe react to the whole show, kobe seems to like the guy.

Dwight had a sick performance last night period!

bynum numbers per minute are just as good as howard's... and better in blocks

bynum 16/13/3/2 howard 20/14/2/1...pts,reb.blks and assists.. per 36 minutes plus bynum has better post moves, hands, higher ceiling and two years younger.

lakers FO wouldn't trade bynum for Howard.. Bynum has a higher ceiling.

Don't let your love for Howard not let you look at the facts.
How can you say that Howard is better than Bynum when Howard has NO post up game. He’s just a pure power player. Have you seen Howard try to create a shot for himself in the post, it’s terrible! (Shaq at least has a post up game). Bynum has somewhat of an outside game. When Bynum is finished establishing his post up presence, then Howard will even have more trouble guarding him because Bynum is taller than Howard.

With regards to his attitude, he may be a great guy but I think the NBA life is getting to his head. Even his coach, Stan Van Gundy, has called out Dwight Howard and has told him to play more defense, but for some reason Dwight Howard refuses to do so on a consistent basis. Bynum, with his massive wing span alters layups on a more consistent basis. D. Howard is a great player, but Bynum is not too far behind.
You're a moron if you think Bynum is a better player then Dwight Howard at the moment.
