Kobe nears “technical” limit

This is scary; it carries over in to the post-season…

Kobe Bryant picked up three technical fouls in a two-game stretch this week, pushing him to a season total of 11, five away from being automatically suspended by the league for one game.

“He’s close to the limit . . . so he’s going to have to be careful,” Lakers Coach Phil Jackson said.

So, anyone think he won’t get 5 more?

If hes one away he’ll just flat out shut up. He loves competing too much.

I’m sure Kobe knows that. His competitive nature is showing even with the refs.

After a player hits 16 technicals and then gets suspended, does the 16 start all over again, or does the player get suspended on technical foul 17, then again on technical 18, etc?

on the 16th you get a one game suspension, and then you get a one game suspension every 2 technicals after…so he would get suspended for one game on the 18th, 20th, 22nd, etc…

ABSOLUTELY NOT… KOBE WILL NOT GET SIXTEEN T’S… HE HAS GREAT SELF CONTROL WHEN HE WANTS ESP… WHEN IT MEANS COSTING HIS TEAM OR HIMSELF A GAME. IN FACT, IF HE HAD 15 RIGHT NOW HE WOULD NOT GET ANOTHER T. KOBE LIKES TO PLAY UP TO THE FENCE, BUT WON’T GO OVER.
