Kobe Bryant Named Players of the Month in the West
NBA.com: The Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant today were named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Month presented by Kia, respectively, for games played in February…
Bryant led the Lakers to a 13-2 mark, averaging team highs in points (27.2 ppg), assists (5.9 apg) and steals (2.07 spg). Bryant, who shot .507 from the field, scored at least 30 points on eight occasions and netted more than 40 points twice.

Feb. 1 @ Toronto: Scored 46 points on 19-of-28 shooting to go along with seven rebounds and five assists in a 121-101 win.
Feb. 8 @ Orlando: Recorded 36 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in a 117-113 win.
Feb. 20 @ Phoenix: In 46 minutes, netted 41 points on 16-of-25 shooting in a 130-124 win.
Feb. 26 vs. Portland: Tallied 30 points and nine assists in a 96-83 victory.

Great to see Kobe get some recognition for his stellar play, hopefully the lakers can win a championship this year and and MVP for kobe.
