heck yeah kobe is definitely this seasons MVP!
he is the best player, on the best team (overall, when healthy), with the best coach. he has played sensational this season and is making his teammates better.
the season is coming down to the final stretch and the playoffs are about to begin shortly. the lakers need to take care of a few things.
1. need to retain players or contract extensions for bench players such as vujacic, mihm (if healthy) and turiaf.
2. release certain players, such as coby karl and mbenga so we can sign some veterans.
3. sign/trade for a good player off bench, i like corey maggette, who may opt out of his contract with the clippers but will probably ask for lots of money. but the lakers need someone who can step up off the bench and play well like maggette.
4. keep core players intact, dont trade odom
