There is not a human being alive that would play a lick, let alone thrive with 2 minutes every ten games....Mbenga is a true seven footer with athleticism and is being wasted by Jackson’s stubborn history of trying/playing unknown talent...Most people might not even be aware or remember how Mbenga, when given ample minutes, more than held his own and performed very well, against our own Andrew Bynum this year....He most definitely is a presence in the paint, something The Lakers (without him) do not possess at this point in time.

I just think the Lakers were still tired from that back-to-back with Golden State, and maybe Mbenga should start and Turiaf can go back to being a PF, I think so, why sign a center and play him for 2 minutes every 10 games? Mbenga should get more minutes til Bynum is back, hes not all that good but he is still a presence in the post, Lakers givin up too many points in the paint, and youll never know, Mbenga might surprise the coaching staff.

He won't make a difference on the defensive end, which is why they are losing these games.

[Comment ID #30720 Will Be Quoted Here]

WOW! Maybe you should watch the game before you make stupid comments. Luke had a +7 for the game, second to only DJ who had a +8. The best +/- for a starter was Vlad at -6. Odom was -16, Kobe and Fish -18 and Ronny -21. Luke had the 3rd highest shooting %, as he was 4/7 (only behind Odom's 7/10 and DJ's 2/2). Kobe was 8/22, which simplified is 4/11. It took kobe 4 more shot attempts to make the same amount of baskets. Look was 3/3 from the line, second to only Turiaf who was 4 for 4. Luke only had 1 TO, the only people who had 0 were Turiaf and DJ, and only Farmar and Fish also had 1.

Now, lets compare Kobe's stats to Luke's had both played the same amount of minutes (48). Luke: 25 points on 56% (9/16) shooting from the field and 100% (7/7) from the line, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 0 turnovers and 0 fouls. Kobe: 32 points on 38% (10/26) shooting from the field (2/7 from 3, 29%) and 79% (11/14) from the line, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 turnovers, and 5 fouls.

You're going to say Luke had a bad game?

Chicky baby always said refs never control the outcome of the game.
Chicky baby also said that no game ever came down to one play.

Chicky thought that the fans would overblow in their minds a certain play and focus on that as a deciding factor - but in reality a game consists of so many individual parts that no game comes down to one play or the refs.

KB could easily be hit with at least one T in every game for his constant verbal barrage and animation after non calls. In fact, if you look at other fan sites or articles in other cities, their position is that KB gets away with way too much and gets rewarded more than anyone.

As fans, we're all jaded b/c these are our guys. But when u step away and try to be objective . . . good luck with that!

Teams are gonna continue to attack the paint because of the absence of AB/Pau,LO is NOT A CENTER and neither is Ronny,so of course they're going to lose games like this.

The Kobe technical call,I like it for certain reasons,1,it's showing what Phil has been saying the whole time(especially about the refs and Kobe),there's definitely a WITCH HUNT against him,2,they(refs)determine the outcome of any game or sport, sad but true.

I will say Kobe does need to keep his cool considering they were only down 6.
