We were Over Confidnece, trust me this lost is good for us. From here and on we will play much better and win some good games. We play much better on the road which is a good thing in the playoffs. But we have to win games at home if we get home court advantage.

Lakers better learn to ATTACK THE ZONE, or else they will shoot 35% for the game, and the other team will score 90%, of the 65% missed shots, from the long rebounded fastbreaks....WORD!

I think the problem may be is our role players have just about reached their limit as starters...and being forced to make key plays. We need Pau, Bynum, and Ariza back ASAP.

Sorry but Sasha, needs to take less shots, Space cedit needs to wake up and get his head in the game, Walton needs to go back to the fundementals, and he needs to get his head in the game as well...

again this may be a result of our role players having their roles increased...

Got to give the team a little credit for at the very least staying near the top...but enough is enough, we need our team at full strength, enough said...

The lakers will bounce back against the wizards, Kobe will make sure of that after 2 stupid losses. Kobe should have had easily 7 assists if people were making threes. Sasha shot 14 3 pointers!!!!!!!!
As for off season acquisitions I think the team is fine the way it is but we just need a person Like Pietrus who can play the 2 and 3 and can also defend. He wouldnt cost more than 5-7M a season and the lakers should try and make it happen.

You mean to tell me a great perimeter defender and rebounder like Ira Newble couldn't even see any action (even one minute) against two of the worst teams in the league. Is the triangle really that hard to grasp or is Luke Walton that good in Phil Jackson eyes. I wonder what Laker management is thinking now about keeping our two big key 7 footers out for sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long. Maybe when we're battling Denver for the final playoff spot on the last day of the season, they might bring at least one of them back.

this team is simply being exposed for the lack of big men they don't have in the middle. rest assured we will win tomorrow with or without gasol, but we will lose against the blazers if we don't get gasol back

[Comment ID #30977 Will Be Quoted Here]

What you fail to mention is that most of these players are RESTRICTED FREE AGENTS - meaning their current teams have the option to match any offers and can also resign them to a higher contract.

For me, at the PG position:"White Chocolate" J.Williams(Make'em play the way he did when he shook Gary Payton)

SG:Kevin Martin

SF:Corey Maggette

PF:Chris Wilcox

C/PF:JO!JO!(I DON'T CARE HOW HURT HE IS,BETTER THAN MIHM)

If could only have or afford 2,Kevin Martin or Corey Maggette(back up Kobe),JO(Back Bynum or Pau)and I'd get Gerald Green,as a bonus, hopefully he comes to Laker Summer League or sign him and put him in D-League to work on IQ(he has tooooooo much talent to be wasting).

I left Pietrus off 'cause I wanted to be fair to the list at hand.
