A Thank You Note

Dear Lakers,

I did not think that this season could have gotten any better.

And then it did.

You finally paid me back for my years of loyal fanhood and unwavering support.

One of your season ticket representatives, the lovely Michelle Vogel, handed me a $2,300 Courtside ticket for the second half of the contest against the Mavericks last Friday as a gift for my Twentieth birthday.

All my dreams came true. I got to sit in with my heroes Petros and Money. I heckled Jason Kidd and I gave Sasha a high-five. I was a physical part of it.

As I sat on the baseline, inches from the Laker Girls and feet from my Purple and Gold heroes, I truly had a new appreciation for what you are to me: my friends.

Thank you for being there.

Always,
VarsityOptimism
