I know its been awhile since my last Post-Game Report, but I’ve been very busy in life. I just got back from the “Clipper game” so I figured I would write one while I’m sober.
It started out ugly for the Lakers, but it all quickly changed. It was great to see so many other Lakers fans in attendance tonight, especially those who joined me in booing Smush.
The Lakers took care of the little things: 49% FGs, only 8 turnovers, and had 25 assists. I would still like to see the Lakers take less threes—29 is insane! The Lakers had 6 players score double figures in the 28 point rout. The Lakers earned their 54th win while handing the Clippers their 56th loss.
Now, the bests of the night…
Top 3 Laker Performers…
1) Believe it or not… Luke is my number one. After so many STDs, Luke is finally clean. 18 points including 4-5 threes? 5 boards, 4 assists, 0 turnovers, 1 steal and a block? Wow, is all I have to say!
2) Lamar took three shots, but had 14 points and 13 boards. Talk about efficiency.
3) Farmar looked great tonight. He had 10 points on 4-6 shooting, 4 assists, and 2 steals.
Lakers Smush of the Day (Note: STD denotes the Laker that played the poorest): Elgin Baylor for employing Smush Parker yet again.

What to look for next game: Look for the Lakers to blow out New Orleans. They need to send a message to the West.

I was there boo’ing smush w/ you bro! that was the best. Even better though was when the clippers took the floor for the first time in warm ups and they got boo’d so hard. Clipper home games suck.

no one’s hating here..im just saying how things are…luke cant perform like he used to, he’s as a matter of fact, terrible most days..if u look at his two good games, they were at seattle when lakers were up by a lot and now today
I agree with e above. When Luke first came in he got stuffed on two of his ridiculous slow motion no jump fallaway post moves, missed an easy layup but fortunately put back in the following rebound, shot two airballs and got tied up on a lame attempt at a layup.
I had to laugh when Smush Parker clumsily landed on his wallet when back peddling in the back court on defense. Made me recall why we got rid of this clown after suffering thru two miserable seasons with this joke, which was one of our bigger improvements along with unloading Kwame and Cookie. For next season a big improvement would be if we could somehow replace Luke with someone with some talent.
I dont care if Luke got the bests of the night..What’s important today was we had our starters rest as early as the end of 3rd Q and the start of 4th Q so they can blow the Hornets’s asses tomorrow..Watch out for KB’s MVP performance, as he spanks them..

This is definitely a great win for the Lakers but we need to look at tonights game. This to me in the biggest game of the season because of what it could do for the Lakers if they win. I predict Kobe will have a monster game but it will come down to the final minutes as to who will prevail in Staples Center.
really easy game. smush is embarassing. i laugh when i see him play.. good win and best part was that the starters got to rest. tonight they must DESTROY the hornets.

I have to admit Luke played like he wanted to be a MVP candidate Last night,I don’t care if it was the Slip…I mean Fli…wait…..Clippers(there we go).If he plays like this in the playoffs,The Lakers is winning it all. I guess knowing Ariza is coming back REAL SOON finally woke his A@# up.
If any of u watched the game on TNT, it was boring…i knew the lakers would win. im just waiting for tonight’s game against the hornets.
