The Lakers ended the regular season with a blowout victory over the Sacramento Kings tonight. The Lakers didn’t need to play anyone more than 28 minutes mainly because of the starting front court. Vlad, Lamar, and Pau combined for 20 of 23 shooting! The Lakers finished with 32 assists as the final buzzer sounded with the crowd chanting MVP, MVP!
The Lakers combined to shoot 51% from the field, and basically did everything right. Now it’s time to rest and get ready to beat on that 8 seed.
It’s also officially time to put up those TLN Bumper Stickers and Lakers car flags! Laker Fever is back!!!

1) Lamar continues to be a double-double machine. 15 points going both 5-5 from the field and the stripe. He had 12 boards, 3 assists, 1 turnover, 3 steals, and 2 blocks!
2) Pau shot 9-11 en route to 22 points. He also had 7 boards, 3 assists, and 2 blocks. Ka-Pau!
3) Vlad Rad shot 6-7, had 4 assists, 2 steals and a block. Ronny had 10 points on 5-6 shooting and 6 assists. Those are my co-number 3’s.
Lakers Smush of the Day (Note: STD denotes the Laker that played the poorest): D-Fish had 4 points on 1-6 shooting. He was just saving the good stuff for this weekend.

i was at that game…fun to watch…i dont know if they showed it on TV but our section started the wave goin on in the 300 section…hahaha…the mihm dunk was pretty good…but i think dunk of the night would have to do to mbenga…hahahaha…sick!
Good win last nite and now i get to go back and tell my friends that we are the number one seeded team in the West and that WE WILL WIN IT ALL!!! Look for the Denver series to be fast and fun to watch and the Dallas series to be a quick sweep and on to the next round.
I feel I have a great idea! I think the name of the website should be change from http://www.thelakersnation.com to http://www.thelakerssparksnation.com. I feel that the Lakers and Sparks are so closely related as like they are the same, because ‘Showtime’ is back.

Was at the game last night too! It was my first Laker game. Good times. There were two Kings fans in our section and everyone was giving them a hard time. It was great. We also won free oil changes!
Overall, the game was great and I liked how the Lakers just took over in the third. I’m glad to see Mihm back out there dunking and getting some shots off. His shot was a bit off but I’m sure that dunk is going to help get his confidence back. BEST IN THE WILD WILD WEST!!!!!!
I think PJ is keeping Bynum and Ariza sidelined so he can play mind games with other teams. They’ll try to see how the current lineup does and wont use the two unless they have to. Plus They won’t need Bynum against the Chicken Nuggets nor the Mavs. Hell, not even if they borrow each teams center lineup.
I’m prayin’ Ariza plays,at least. Now I can quote that ’somewhat famous rapper’ from Miami,WE THE BEST!!!

bynum and ariza should be sidelined for the season and they both have potential, a lot of potential, but we should only use bynum if we are losing in the series to a team with a dominant center, and we only will play ariza if we are losing in the series to a team with a dominant perimeter player
