ESPN: Lakers coach says Bynum not close to contributing to team

Well it seems Bynum may not make a HUGE impact this postseason, unfortunately. However, maybe putting Bynum in the 2nd unit in limited minutes wouldn’t be such a bad thing…

ESPN: When asked after practice if there was a risk of messing up team chemistry by playing 7-footers Bynum and Pau Gasol at the same time, Jackson replied: “I think without a doubt that Andrew would come off the bench and we would play him a little bit off the bench if there was any chance that he could come back and play again, but it’s such a remote thing. We’re not seriously thinking about it.”

Stop talking about Bynum already and start talking about the Lakers success and greatness. When Bynum comes back he’ll come back because reports about him and his injury are getting boring!!!!!

It could be mind games by PJ but the reality we need to forget about Bynum and focus on what we have now.
If Bynum comes and play some minutes great, but let’s just focus and be positive. We have a great team already and great chance to win it all.

    LET’S PLAY D!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Go Lakers

No worries Pau is putting up better numbers at the center position than Bynum was. But it sure would be nice to have Bynum in the mix.

he wont be back this year. his injury updates are just becoming routine. slow healer. but even without him lakers can still win it all. pau is going to continue to play amazing.

Finals is good but I’d rather him come back next season, don’t wanna risk permanent injury, though I feel this MAY be a ploy by management and PJ to keep teams wondering.

….which is why JO or Pietrus may come to the lakers in the off season,remember,2 of our players need surgery(Kobe and Luke)and depending on how long it may take to heal someone has to fill those voids.

    ANY ARIZA NEWS……..anyone!

for all of those saying Bynum is a slow healer… You do realize he severely dislocated his knee cap right?
