Phil had to deal with a lot more drama, lineup inconsistency and injury unpredictability than Scott and WE came out with the #1 seed. Phil deserves it... Even up until the end people believed the Hornets were going to take the #1 spot...that is until we hit em with a 1st quarter uppercut in our last meeting with them. Phil deserves it... Phil did what he was supposed to do, which is guide these youngsters and mold them into who they were capable of being. Byron has guided a group of ragtag misfits into prosperity before with the Nets in '02 and '03. I think that this award is more of a tossup than ever.
