Robert Horry to break Kareem’s NBA playoff record

I thought this was pretty cool. If Horry plays in today’s game, he’ll pass up Kareem’s record. Horry however, didn’t want to be put in “just to be put in.” If anyone deserves it, it’s another Lakers and great guy in Robert Horry.

MySA.com: I don’t want him to put me in just to get (the record),” Horry said. “That would be disrespectful to Kareem.

If he’s going to play make sure he hit a buzzer beater.

break nba playoff record for what???

Inside the story for those that had to look for it:
“One playoff appearance shy of matching Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the all-time leader in postseason games played”

This shows you why we all love Robert Horry. Here’s this happy go lucky guy going about his business in the NBA. He’s got more titles than Jordan and he still has enough sense to not to disrespect a legitimate record held by one of NBA’s greats. Incidentally, he’s won a championship on every team he’s been on except for the Suns.

p.s. I hate the Suns and hope they’ll never win! EVER!!!!!
