Rondo suffering from ankle injury

Here is a report on Rajon’s ankle. Apprently, he’s pretty banged up. He’s waiting for X-Ray results. Here is an injury update; something to definitely keep an eye on…

Boston Globe: “It’s sore,” said Rondo, who returned to the game in the fourth quarter and finished with 8 points and 4 assists. “I’ll get a lot of treatment. “It was a little tender. I could run a little bit, but I wasn’t sure that I could cut on it, so I didn’t make any hard cuts.

“I’ll get a lot of treatment done and keep on resting and staying off my feet. We have a great trainer, so I’m sure I’ll probably be ready [for Game 4].”

I was just watching NBA TV and rondo said that the X-rays were negative and that he is a little sore, but hopefully he will be good by tomorrow. I think he will still be sore for tomorrow’s game which means he cant cut as much or defend drives as well.

Well he deserved it, I don’t want anyone on either team to get hut, but that was an unforced injury, he was clumsy, it wasn’t like the Lakers injuries where it involved some other player, he just stepped wrong and he was wearing low or maybe mid top sneakers, bad move.

Nah no one deserves to twist there ankle. He was running at full speed and rolled his foot. I DOUBT he’ll have the mobility required to be as effective as Game 2.

It seems that only less impacting Boston players are getting injured…Karma is a b*tch ain’t it, Paul Pierce fakes his injury and then Kendrick Perkins and Rajon Rondo get injured…>) Lets Go LAKERS!!!

MAYBE THEY SHOULD HAVE GIVEN RANDO A WHEEL CHAIR AND HE WOULD BE ALL HEALED UP AND OK FOR GAME 4 LOL

Same here.. I think the Lakers figured something out by putting Kobe on him so he can spread out a little and clog things up for Boston. But if its Cassel or House in there, those two might have a career night and score on some open looks…

Even if Tony Allen is all healed up from a sore Achilles tendon, he could pose problems since he might be someone that the Lakers wont pay too much attention to.

no big loss if he is out cassell and house shoot better anyway
