Kobe is B.E.T.’s Male Athlete of the Year

KB24.com: The awards keep rolling in for Kobe. B.E.T. held its Awards ‘08 Ceremony Tuesday night, and Kobe was named the Male Athlete of the Year, beating out an impressive list of nominees: LeBron James, Tiger Woods, Chris Paul and Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

KB was not on hand to accept the award, but he wasn’t the only high-profile winner who didn’t attend. Missy Elliot and The-Dream were also absent from the ceremony.
