Lakers extend qualifying offers to Sasha & Ronny
The Lakers have reached out to both fan fav’s Sasha and Ronny. We’ll have to see how it plays out now:
Yahoo: The Los Angeles Lakers extended qualifying offers to restricted free agent forward Ronny Turiaf and guard Sasha Vujacic on Monday.
Turiaf averaged 6.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in 78 games last season, while Vujacic scored 8.8 points in 72 contests. Both players can still sign with another team but the Lakers have the right to match those offers.

I dont get it!
I think Turiaf will stay with us, he loves the Lakers too much. Sasha will probably stay too but im sure he’s lookin for a lil higher salary
We’ll be fine. They’re both restricted agents. Lakers management want them back. Thus, if other teams offer more money, we can still match it w/o salary cap restrictions. Note, we also have the “Larry-Bird” rights for both of them (I think).
