SLTribune: The Jazz contacted agent Mark Bartelstein about L.A. Lakers forward Ronny Turiaf.
Bartelstein added that he was planning to talk with O’Connor later Tuesday.

Turiaf is a very high energy athlete who brings enthusiasm to basketball and I bet he’s a very great friend. I think the Lakers need someone like Turiaf to keep them in a positive mood.
Unless we can get Carlos Boozer or something lol.

Why is everyone so enamored with Sasha and Ronny. They are career backup players! If they want to walk, let them walk. They wont be missed. there’s an entire league full of average NBA players!!! They can and will be replaced!!

Do you guys remember when Ronny had that serious heart condition I believe after coming out of Arizona. The Lakers took a chance on him, took care of him and helped him out b/c he was getting paid zero dollars. They spent their own money on a prospect to make sure he was healthy and so that he can continue to live his life. He slowly developed into a good contributor off the bench, and all of this he owes to the Lakers organization. I am sorry but if Ronny leaves then there is no loyalty @ all. I know he’s entitled to make the most money he can, but when he was a broke @$$ kid that was a low draft choice, the Lakers took care of him like family. Break that bond and he can go to the f u ckin Jazz and we’ll destroy him when we see him.
