If the Spurs get him they’re really gonna be tough. They were a healthy Manu away from making our series with them very competitive. Throw in Mag and they’re gonna be back in the hunt to take back the title.

If Sasha wants the MLE, let him go and go after Mag. Great with the 3 ball and a more consistent, tougher scorer. He can always improve on D.

WTH what do you mean Sasha wants the MLE? Are you high or do you not know anything? The Lakers and Vujacic are in the middle of a contract negotiation. They are trying to RESIGN him, and resigning an unrestricted free agent allows a team that the player belongs to, to match any other teams’ offers. So what do you mean MLE? You people should go watch sports central on kcal9 or cbs2 so you all will know more. Also listen to AM570 KLAC. Do both of these things and you will know a lot about the Lakers. For those that sound like they’re smoking crack when they talk about free agency & trades, go play NBA LIVE’s dynasty mode or something like that so you’ll know how free agency and salary caps work. Idiots.

Half of LeBron in terms of strength and skill? I don't know about strength there. You should also watch what you're saying. A lot of people that talk on this forum are stupid. They have no idea what the F they're saying. They post comments like they're MIDDLE SCHOOL KIDS that fool around. Have ya ever heard MIDDLE SCHOOL KIDS trying to talk NBA? They sound like crap.

Here's the point: Maggette is probably as strong as LeBron strength wise, if not stronger. I would think that he is stronger the King James. Look at his shoulders, triceps and biceps, or should I say look at his wholes arms. You mean to tell me that he out muscle LeBron? LeBron is bigger, sure, cuz he's 6'8" and Corey is 6'6" or 6'7". But I have no doubt Mag is stronger.

Skill wise, James is obviously better duh. James is almost the best in the NBA. Nothing to say here.

We don’t need more offense. Corey is a great player and probably is half of what Lebron is as far as strength and skill. But we need defense.

He is an upgrade from Vlad and Luke tho. We’d have too many SFs

You should watch what you're saying there. Do you have any proof that he is a POOR defensive player? I watch Clipper games and I can say that he is okay, not bad and not good, just okay. Watch what you're saying. Yes, the Lakers are over the salary cap and paying Luxury Tax, but why not use the MLE if they can take the team to another level? Money is not a problem for this team. Screw luxury tax. Los Angeles is the 2nd richest market behind New York. So as long as they have options, like the MLE, they shouldn't hesitate.

Maggette is a poor defensive player (ok man-on-man but is basically non existent when it comes to team defense), and the Lakers do not need any more offense. Also you have to look at the financial implications of any long term deal for the MLE. With already being over the luxury tax and having to extend Bynum’s contract and Farmars, the Lakers are not likely to offer a full MLE to anyone. If they do it will probably mean that Odom will be let go of after next season unless he is willing to resign for 7-8M.
