NBA Salary Cap For 2008-09 Season Set At $58.680 Million

We may not be the salary cap guru that the brilliant Larry Coon is, but this should appeal to those Salary cap guru’s out there:

RealGM: The National Basketball Association today announced that the Salary Cap for the 2008-09 season will be $58.680 million. The new Cap goes into effect immediately as the league’s “moratorium period” has ended and teams can begin signing free agents and making trades.

    Oh whaat?

    I never knew there was a cap for every team.. no wonder we got Pau Gasol. Now I know what they’re talking about when they mention salary cap.
