Why is Kobe the Best?
HOOPSWORLD: As a psychologist in my day job, it’s always been a fascination of mine to try and understand what makes people tick. Having a chance to spend some time with Kobe Bryant last week at The Kobe Bryant Basketball Academy, I found myself wondering the same thing about him.
He’s had such ups and downs during the course of his career both on and off the court. However, during most of that time he’s been unquestionably the most physically talented basketball player on the planet, and there’s always been something that made him stand out from the rest.
So what exactly is it about Bryant that makes him perhaps the most unique player in the Association? Here’s a look at six specific qualities that help differentiate Bryant from the pack.
