This whole Artest situation keeps getting more crazy. How, you ask? Well for starters, Ron has changed his name. On top of that, little things like trade pieces, his ex-agent who isn’t, and other stuff is simplified in this post.
Artest also made it clear to Stein that he is all for a trade to the Lakers, and all indications on my end continue to show that it’s a real possibility. Lamar Odom is, according to my sources, indeed available should the Kings want him and the Ronny Turiaf situation still plays a part here.
- Artest told ESPN that he is now his own agent, that was news to his still-current agent, Mark Stevens. The SacBee also reports Odom is still available should the Kings want him. Hmmm…
- Artest wants to go by his middle name of “Bill”
