Two weeks ago we posted an article that Bynum was cleared, and all was well in Lakers Nation. Six days later, Mitch came back to the spotlight and said, “I’m saying he (Bynum) has not been cleared.” Well today, that changes…
L.A. Times: Bynum was cleared by his therapist Friday to expand his rehabilitation program to include light work on the court.
“The reports are very positive,” Kupchak said. “Everything is upbeat. We expect Andrew to be able to go full steam, full bore by training camp.”
Kupchak: I’m saying [Bynum] has not been cleared
Kupchak goes to Atlanta to check on Bynum
Sun Yue cleared to practice!
Ariza cleared to return soon
BREAKING NEWS: Ariza cleared, practiced today!

wow finally, can’t believe how serious his injury was, it better not happen again next season
wow umm u injure ur knee and they say no surgery needed and u think that is good ummm not in this case… but yea he back and hopefully stays healthy and help us win championships
Stay strong and healthy Incredible Bynum!
get healthy Sam Bouie!!!!!!
I know Bynum is going to get bigger and stronger and motivated for next season. LET’S DO IT!!!!
Bynum better dominate..
this solves a lot of the rebounding problems!!! and he’ll also clean up all of Kobe’s missses!!! oh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
this injury worries me???? and mitch say full steam by training camp…so it seems like they are still very worried about his knee…….i hope he will be fine and that he stays healthy…….
Hope he comes back better built next season. Power and strength with his footwork and fundamentals? OOOOOWEEEEEEE DON’T LIGHT THE FUSE ON THE BYNUMITE!!!
Woooooooooooooooooohhh!!!
Welcome back! Missed you buddy!

A Bynum comeback means no more Ray Allen, Paul Pierce or Leon Powe sprinting down the middle for easy layups!!!!!
I think the Celts got away cause we didn’t have Drew. I truly believe that we needed Drew in that series. But then again, I thought we’d need him against the Spurs and still beat em.
If we have Artest, we can be sure Allen, Pierce or Powe, whichever he’s guarding, won’t have the ball when they get to the basket cuz they’ll be picked off by Ron Ron.
I can’t wait till November!!!
Speculating about who to add to the team is interesting and breaks up the boredom while waiting for the new season. Last year at this time the only addition to the team was D. Fisher, when the hype was about so many others. The Lakers ended up in the Finals. This year there is new speculation and not much action. I expect the Lakers to go into training camp looking much the same as they so now, and I expect them to be great this coming year.
Yeah the full steam comment got me thinking. I think Mitch and the FO want to see how Bynum’s knee holds up in camp before they make an offer to him on an ext. They can make an offer for an ext. until Oct. 31 i believe.
Great news!
this is good news. hopefully, he will return better than ever and stay healthy all year
Great news!! stay away from Lamar, hint, wink, trade for “Kill Bill”
Finally!!! geeez! Welcome back Drew! Better get double doubles all season-
It’s a great news
this solves a lot of the rebounding problems!!! and he’ll also clean up all of Kobe’s missses!!! oh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
