Bynum OFFICIALY Cleared

Two weeks ago we posted an article that Bynum was cleared, and all was well in Lakers Nation. Six days later, Mitch came back to the spotlight and said, “I’m saying he (Bynum) has not been cleared.” Well today, that changes…

L.A. Times: Bynum was cleared by his therapist Friday to expand his rehabilitation program to include light work on the court.

“The reports are very positive,” Kupchak said. “Everything is upbeat. We expect Andrew to be able to go full steam, full bore by training camp.”

    Woooooooooooooooooohhh!!!

Welcome back! Missed you buddy! :)

A Bynum comeback means no more Ray Allen, Paul Pierce or Leon Powe sprinting down the middle for easy layups!!!!! :)

  11. Michael_23 says:

I think the Celts got away cause we didn’t have Drew. I truly believe that we needed Drew in that series. But then again, I thought we’d need him against the Spurs and still beat em.

If we have Artest, we can be sure Allen, Pierce or Powe, whichever he’s guarding, won’t have the ball when they get to the basket cuz they’ll be picked off by Ron Ron.

  13. I can’t wait till November!!!

  14. Daryl Imhoff says:

Speculating about who to add to the team is interesting and breaks up the boredom while waiting for the new season. Last year at this time the only addition to the team was D. Fisher, when the hype was about so many others. The Lakers ended up in the Finals. This year there is new speculation and not much action. I expect the Lakers to go into training camp looking much the same as they so now, and I expect them to be great this coming year.

Yeah the full steam comment got me thinking. I think Mitch and the FO want to see how Bynum’s knee holds up in camp before they make an offer to him on an ext. They can make an offer for an ext. until Oct. 31 i believe.

  16. Laker Man says:

this is good news. hopefully, he will return better than ever and stay healthy all year

  17. yellowpurplefever says:

    hey milo,
it seems that you want kobe to be traded who do you think the player better than kobe who can’t miss a shot.can you name a player a sg that shoots 50% fg.even mj cant .stop the blame kobe is the last laker legend that brings them in the finals after magic.shaq made the role.
