Walton smart in the Triangle with great passing ability?! Are you f*cking kidding me. We saw Luke pass to the opposing team over and over during the ENTIRE SEASON AND PLAYOFFS. He has no physical talent (always gets his shots blocked on post-ups, can barely make shots when he's 1 foot away from the basket, opposing players just leave him in the dust, plays defense like an old lady). There have been so many times when the Lakers have lost big leads in games whenever he's on the floor. He's f*cking useless. He doesn't even belong in the NBA.

Walton's smarts in the Triangle and excellent passing ability and pass-first mentality are the reasons why Walton is still a Laker, not a non-Lakers or however you want to pronounce it, Phil nor Kobe would want for him to be traded, not at all...As for Radmanovic, the only reason why he's still a Laker is because no one wants to trade for his contract nor his talent, so I guess we're stuck with him...
And finally, Odom...he doesn't even have to be any better anymore, now that he's a 4th option, why would we get someone else who would probably not only be all too happy with a 4th option role, but he would also be much more of a ballhog considering thow much Odom really loves the art of passing, and that's a good thing for us. Why we didn't get J.O. was probably because not only he wouldn't help us any better than Bynum but he also is way more of a ballhog than Bynum, look at our team roster right now, and tell me this...how many guys on our team ballhog from time-to-time (besides Kobe)...the only people close to that is probably maybe...Farmar? That's al I can ever think of...look...we don't need another ballhog/leading scorer (or former leading scorer, in which he "would" be if he was a Laker alongside Kobe) with Kobe, that'd ruin our offense and the way we score, sure, Kobe wants some rest from scoring but do you think that we need a ballhog or whatever, no...it doesn't work that way, and as for our defense, we don't need Bynum to improve our defense as much as we need to improve on our team defense, such as help defense, double-teaming while having people be close enough to every other player, we just need to play at least 75% as good defense as the Celtics or something, we need to defend not only as individuals...but as a team itself...for without teamwork on both offense "AND" defense, we may never win a championship again...believe it.

That's a start.

If we are serious about improving for next year these are the three key steps:

1. GET RID OF WALTON - he is absolutely worthless, a JOKE!

2. GET RID OF VLAD RAD - he's got to go!

3. Get someone worthwhile for Lamar. This will be Lamar's 5th year as a Laker and 10th as a pro and he's still figuring out his game! Enough already! He's not going to be the "next Scottie Pippen". His outside shot is HORRENDOUS. He is a scarecrow on defense. With his awkward one handed attack with constant charge fouls and goofy falling down shots, his ball handling is a clown show. He had ONE good quarter in the finals. Its time to pull the plug on this guy! The Lakers should try to get something of value while there are still some GMs out there that think he has some value.

This is the best scouting I have of the guy without showing highlights because I don't belive in highlights showing how good a player is at all, also, just for a little more interest for you guys, not to say that he's any better than Turiaf in anything besides rebounding but here are their stats compared to each other:

Minutes: Powell= 19.2, Turiaf= 18.7
Points: Powell= 5.5, Turiaf= 6.6
Rebounds: Powell= 5.2, Turiaf= 3.9
Blocks: Powell= 0.4, Turiaf= 1.4
Assists: Powell= 0.7, Turiaf= 1.6
Steals: Powell= 0.2, Turiaf= 0.4
Turnovers: Powell= 1.02 Turiaf=0.92
Field Goal Percentage: Powell= 46%, Turiaf= 47.4
Free-Throw Percentage: Powell= 72.4%, Turiaf= 75.3%

"The Los Angeles Lakers have signed free agent Josh Powell, it was announced today. Per team policy, TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT WERE NOT RELEASED."

They didn't say what they offered him yet, so how did you (e-bucher) know that it was a 3-year, $17 million and show your proof... :/
