We have the best squad in the league. Other teams may have aquired players but our players fit together and have more chemistry. We’ve been together for a while now…and it’s our time.

ESPN is full of great analyst that I trust. I hate it when people put them down. Sure they messed up on the finals but remember the smartest one of all didnt. Bill Walton. I still trust them completely but I need to look at some things before I can pick the Lakers.

Well the only reason we were favored was because we just ran through the tougher Western conference and the Celtics had a tough time in the east.
ESPN analysts said we were favored to win the championship last season.

Didn’t we get jinxed by Dbricks last year when he guaranteed the Lakers will win the title? Dbricks… Where is that “i told you so”?
I hate these articles. The main reason it puts undue pressure on the team to perform and it doesn’t help them to relax when playing ball. Remember when Riley guaranteed a championship? Yes they won it but the players actually didn’t like playing under that guarantee. Kareem stuffed a sock in Riley to not make any more predictions.

If Kobe gets 10+ assists per game, then he has a chance for MVP. But there’s no story this year so far besides his decision to not have surgery so he can be with his team.
