Phil doesn’t think Bynum will be a 20/10 guy yet

Phil’s mindtricks? Or is it really how he feels about the kid? Either way, Bynum will bring enough to put us over the top - book it…

RealGM: Lakers coach Phil Jackson doesn’t believe that center Andrew Bynum can obtain his goal of averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds this season.

“Well, I guess it’s good to have goals,” Jackson said. “It’s not possible. There’s just not enough offense for everyone to do that kind of stuff.”

He’s just tryna motivate Bynum. Bynum will drop 20 and 10 plus 3 blocks and a dunk or two

It’s not that Phil said he couldn’t do it, Bynum is capable of 20 and 10. He knows that. However, in Bynum’s role on this Lakers team, there won’t be enough points to go around for everybody, and he’s saying Bynum won’t be their scorer. That will be Kobe and Pau.

    So Bynum’s role isn’t a 20/10 guy, he’s a defense/rebounding guy is what Phil is saying.

Phil said he wants Bynum to get 10+ rebounds a game with 3 blocks per game.
