Nation Discussion: Which Lakers (out of 5) are heading to the AS game?

The 2009 All-Star ballots are in!

Better yet, it features 5 Lakers; Derek Fisher, Kobe Bryant, Lamar Odom, Pau Gasol & Andrew Bynum!

Who do you think will make it on there? Does Bynum have a better chance than Odom? With their strong start, how does this effect voting! Discuss it now!

    Kobe/AB/Pau/Ariza.

  2. Ariza is not on the ballot.

Although, that may change in the future.

As for the ones that are. I say Kobe/Gasol/Bynum. I think more people will vote for Gasol and Bynum before they will Odom. Either way, I love our semi-All-Star Lakers team as is.

  3. lakrfan4life says:

    kobe/bynum/pau/lamar/jordan

likelihood in that order, obviously kobe is gonna get selected

jordan is a big maybe, but then again i dont think anyone on the team has a higher chance

im usually not the type to be realistic right away..but for this one…i have to say Kobe and Pau

Why don’t we pull the nation together and send them all. If everyone on the Lakers Nation votes for our players and has everyone we know vote for them, then why not have everyone make it?

    kobe, pau, odom

  7. Lakers 24 7 says:

Kobe is selected for sure, and the other Laker that has the greatest chance of making it is Pau Gasol. No matter how good others on our team may be playing, I believe Kobe and Gasol still have the greatest chance.

  8. DCLAKER says:

They need to put Ariza on the Ballot.

  9. Mitch4Pres says:

i’m voting for allllll of them. daily.

Kobe, Pau, and Bynum I think. Kobe no brainer, pau has played great, and Bynum looks like a top 2 or 3 center in the West right now.

  12. Michael_23 says:

Not a lot of centers in the west. I think Bynum has a great chance. But the asian/chinese community is gonna give it to Yao of course… Yao will be the starting center … unless … he’s injured.

I’d be surprised if Shaq is actually playing in one anymore. The guy needs so much rest lately it’s ridiculous for a 20+ mil a year guy.

Pau and Amare is gonna be a close one, but I think it’s gonna lead up to Amare’s spectacular dunks that’s gonna give him the popular vote. We’ll see if California and the Spanish community can get Pau that starting spot. Wow, I’m talking voting strategies and stuff … Too much election for me lately.

BYNUM PROBLEM- Has anyone noticed that Drew is not finishing? When you stop finishing, your team mates stop giving you the ball. Has he stopped working on his game? He is shotting well under 500. (432) That is very Kwame Brown Like. We have guards that can do that. It they are thinking championship, Drew has to shoot at least fifty poercent. Something is not right. Don’t get too excited about all these victories in the soft part of the schedule.

  14. Fred A. says:

    This one sounds better:
    LAKERS VS EASTERN CONFERENCE ALL-STERS LOL………… :)

  15. Andrew Rafner says:

    Pau and Kobe only

kobe and pau all star starters. bynum back up center for yao.

  17. sketch says:

Kobe, Pau, and Bynum in that order. I like Ariza’s play as the sixth man and I would love to see him in, but I don’t think that would ever happen based on the level of talent out there in the Western Conference.
