Case in point tonight. Lakere coasting with almost a 20 point lead and the Warriors go to three guards on the floor because they had to. Why does Phil feel that he must match up to this? When you have the baddest team on the floor you don't have to downsize and matchup. Let the other guy worry about matching up to you. He does this consistently, along with other dumb moves like (1)Refusing to exploit mismatches, (2)Failure to stop three shooting and work the ball inside, (3)Not making extensive use of the pick and roll.(4) allowing 15 point runs without calling a time out to stop the momentum, (5) Not going with the hot hand--unless it's Kobe, (6) Continuing to use that outdated triangle.____ There are others but that's enough to illustrare my point. But but he is not a starting point guard he can not make a play.... at best, he is a back up point guard. period...
