The Surgery can def effect his plays and ability to drive. Famar is NOT a starter in any team. He is a role-player. I think Shannon will get to play lots of min. when the playoffs start.
just look at West PG, these guys will blow by Fish and Famar
Deron Wil
Tony Park
J Kidd
Chauncey B
Brand Roy
J Terry
This will keep Kobe's legs fresh, not like last year when he ran out of legs/gas in Boston.
Shannon is our Secret Sauce. shhhhhhhh...

farmar is a weak little elf. He has a terrible outside shot. Dosent drive to the hole and cant defend. Shannon is a big guard can defend and has a shot is a league against d league. next is sasha luke and mobenga these guys all suck.

Keep Farms for when Fish decides his careers over. Make Brown the starter and Farmar backup in the future.

Guys, it's all about match ups. PJ likes Farmar. Likes his energy and tempo. Likes his decisions when on floor with bench mob. What it comes down to is who on the Lakers roster best fits against D. Williams, Tony Parker, Chris Parker, Mo Williams, Rondo, etc? Fish will start, of course, and the bigger athletic Shannon Brown will get more minutes. Don't read any more into it that necessary.

You have to read between the lines here. Him saying hes good is bullshyt. He would really like to say PJ is just not giving him the minutes. Shannon has displayed more promise in two weeks than Farmar has displayed in 3 years. This is his second demotion, and there is no way he would be fine with this unless he does not care. And judging from his attitude and careless play out there on the floor, I would lean towards saying he doesnt care.

If Fish finds his shot, with Shannon backing Fish up, our PG position just got stronger.

Saying he does not have confidence in himself shows weakness, and I think he doesn't want to be perceived as weak, hence he says his confidence has not been touched by tough times. There is absolutely nothing wrong with him saying he has kept his confidence throughout all of this.
Really, this guy is capable of running the offense and making good defensive plays. I think he just needs to be more aggressive and he'll be just fine. Gradually, he'll get back in the game like he used to.

People are neglecting the fact that this guy had knee surgery midseason and the question has come up, Did Farmar come back too soon?

Also, Mychel Thompson said during one of the Lakers games that Jordar Farmar should pattern his game after Tony Parker. I agree.

Farmar's problem is that thinks he is a lot better than he actually is. He should accept the fact that he is a ROLE PLAYER and should quit pouting and do what he can to support the team. He should play within his abilities and stop trying to do more than he is capable of.

farmar had this coming, it seemed after not having competition for the back up PG, he let his head get the best of him. the guy thinks he could just let the starting pg come to him, but shannon brown is making a case for himself, so the lakers invest in him and not in farmar.
