Not jinxing anything, but I have no doubt that we’ll have at least a repeat.

Really. Shaq’s basically just a sort of illusion: something to scare and intimidate. And beyond that, I really don’t see the big, big threat of a Cavs team with Shaq. Sure, they’ll be good like last season, but at the end of the day, what the Cavs really need is to learn from their mistakes; establish a better and more organized system rather than just using the tiresome strategy of giving LeBron the ball and hoping he makes a great play. I mean, as they were before, they were a great team, all they needed was more experience, and, quite frankly, better coaching. Mike Brown could not be close to being COY without LeBron making him look great.

With Magic being a more intimidating force with Vince Carter, and Celtics looking to bounce back with KG back in the line-up, it’s going to be way tougher than last year for the Cavs to even clinch the Eastern Conference. Yes, as some here, I want Lakers vs. Celtics!

But no one can take this away from us: Lakers Champs ‘09!

I think it’s great news. Certainly will be an even more entertaining east playoffs, and whoever gets to the finals will be beaten up pretty bad. Plus, wouldn’t it just be so awesome to beat down Lebronze and Snack at the same time?

Anyways, I’m not worried. As a few of you guys said, Shaq destroyed the suns. They were the number one team in the west (literally) when he went there, and look what happened.

On a related note, ESPN writers tanked big time this year with their COY, MVP combo choice – all ready to hand LeBron the crown, etc. etc. They need to re-think their voting process. Should have been Phil-Kobe.

And, while on the subject of Shaq – I wonder how he’ll do in the post season? esp. after 82 games. He better bring Phoenix’ athletic trainer with him to Cleveland – it’s a bit colder up there.
