Riley: Heat’s interest in Odom is “legitimate”
Pat Riley spoke with season ticket holders about the team; mentioned Odom.
Sun-Sentinel: What was made clear in Riley’s private session was that the Heat’s interest in re-acquiring forward Lamar Odom from the Los Angeles Lakers is legitimate, with numbers being discussed that would approach the current Lakers’ free-agent offer that Odom has rejected, when accounting from Florida’s lack of state income tax and other options regarding payments.

Man Odom Just take the FUckin Deal and stay with LA clearly this all about years or Money I mean if he wanted win more champions then he would stay but it looks like he wants to go so if he goes I think LA can win i if they make some mid season trade for a good player other wise I think they can compete but finals I dont know man
Just f*cking sign him already. Worst case, sign-and-trade him for Beasley or some big..
They can’t possibly approach the numbers the Lakers offered, it’s not allowed under the league salary cap/CBA agreement. The Heat are already over the cap, meaning the most they could sign Odom too is $5.8 million a year, which is not approaching the $9M the Lakers offered.
We dont want Beasley….
Sign and Trade. the least LA can do is give Odom his 5 year deal for $45 Million and Get Beasley and Picks
