Once again, Logicguy, you speak with very little logic. The Lakers, who are well over the luxury tax when they took on the contract of Pau Gasol, resigned Andrew Bynum, signed Ron Artest and resigned Shannon Brown and pay Kobe Bryant $20+ million /year, made a more than fair offer to LO. They offered LO $30M over 3 years and $36M over 4 years. What more do you want from them????

You're bitching about the Laker organization when this Laker organization has brought 9 NBA championships to Los Angeles since Jerry Buss bought the team back in 1979. That's NINE championships since 1979 - Name me another NBA team that's matched that - You can't because no team has won more championships than the Lakers since 1979 - Chicago is second with six.

You're poor knowledge of the NBA and how it works contradicts your name of Logicguy. The Lakers are an organization that are built to win and to financially successful all the time.

You won't get many people's vote for new Laker management.

Pierce and KG's head became super large after winning the championship way back. Too bad they wont repeat again. Too much trashtalkin by Pierce and KG will just hurt them at the end of the season. Wheelchair and Gay-G will end up shitt!n themselves again. Damn celd!cks, this gonna be their last push for a championship. After this season, they'll back to draft night highlight again. Fück KG and Pierce, prepare to lose to magic and cavs. Bastard/Biätch Garden! Go drink on your freakin tea parties.

I'm getting so f*cking tired with all these celtic fans coming onto our site thinking they can talk shit. First of all, you are the cockiest fans in ALL of sports and if you think you are getting attention by coming here and talking shit, you're dumb. Second of all, you can't talk shit because we are the champs and you lost game 7 AT Boston. OUCH. And don't feed me this well we didn't have KG shit, I don't give a sh$t, if you guys were truly a good team you would have won that series with or without him. I'll tell you one thing, I'm enjoying the championship we just won and look forward to the upcoming years when we pass the celtics for most championships and then we will be the number 1 team ever in the NBA. Actually we already are but as soon as we one up them there will be no arguments for celdick "fans" to say that their "beloved" team is number 1. GET THE F*CK OUT OF HERE

Willow,

"Where are all those Celdiks fans now biatches?!?!" you ask? Well, they're out on the Green Monster wackin off to the sight of Big Papi, and Pedroia while drinkin the moonshine that their southern kin had smuggled up through the interstate!

All those C0ckston c0ck suckers are probably in fetal positions up in the attic and/or in their mother's basements because their beloved RedSucks not just lost tonight, but now they're now 1 game behind the Yankees in the AL East! The world is ending as they know it! Like I said up above... all they got is their sports and there ain't nothin else!

And you know who's the real victims in all these stupid antics by these inbreds? It's their moms(who are actually their cousins or sisters) because if things continue to go this bad for their sports teams, then they'll never leave the attics or the basements! FCUK THEM!!!!

GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hm. Smell SmellDic fans coming out of the skunkworks. This is definitely a sign. All the rats abandon ship before the passengers. It must mean we're close to signing Odom, and the Lakers foremost enemy is panicking.

Like the Wicked Biatch of the East, all it takes is a little water to melt them ... melt them ... melt them ... they're melting.

The 4 Horseman-eur of the Apocalypse (called the Smelldics) are galloping out in the End of Days, to witness the Once and Future Champion Lakers. (4 = Allen, Garnett, Pierce, Wallace). Kobe the King is descending from heaven, with the 7 Angels (Gasol, Artest, Odom, Fisher, Bynum etc.) to bring everlasting ChampionShipNess to the world capital of BasketBall - Los Angeles (= the Angels).

We will triumph. The great and powerful Oz (= Buss) has spoken (or, will speak soon).

A VOTE AGAINST NEW LAKER MANAGEMENT

We observed how lesser teams took care of their stars during the off season. Guys like Bourgnani, Turkoglu, Okur, Varejoa Marion ..... all got better contracts from their teams than LO. These teams looked at what these players value was to them, not what is the most money available elsewhere. There is a double standard here. Could Luke, Sasha, Morrison ...etc have gotten a similar contract elsewhere? These guys offered LO backup money (Valenueva,Milsap .....) When the whole Ariza story comes out fans are going to be surprised. I was hoping Lamar would take a lesser
offer somewhere else (more specifically, Portland) just to highlite the hypocracy. I hope all athletes observed what will happen to them when they get goaded into saying publicly that you will take less money to stay with a particular team. Dont show your hand to these fatcat businessmen. When they catch you with your pants down they will screw you. When these idiot sports parasite media people try to finesse a scoope out of you, guard your true opinions. It will be uses against you.

Hell yeah, i agree that the lakers will be different without lamar. Now i dont know if thats on a plus side or a minus. But given the situation, it is a WISE choice to get lamar at the time being. Though i have been saying that the championship doesnt largely depend on lamar and lamar is not the Laker's "Jesus Christ the Savior".. BUT, he is a good complement player to the team.
Quite simply...Lakers are a DEEP CHAMPIONSHIP team with Lamar, and they are NOT without him. The entire dimension and quality of the team changes COMPLETELY if he is not on the team. I'll go as far as saying the Artest pick-up, in lieu of Ariza, means nothing if they can't sign Lamar. I dont understand how the lakers, or any true fan doesnt see Lamar's importance..we HAVE to sign him, period. And where's Kobe in all this...where's the leadership. Think about it... the ONLY thing that reallymatters for Kobe (and Buss) is Winning Championships. Kobe's legacy is on the line...and he has all the money in the world. if i were him, i would got the Lakers and tell them I'd take 18 million instead of 25ish million, allowing them to easily resiogn Lamar, and maybe even add another quality vet out there.
