Probably Bynum's injuries have kept him from learning faster with Kareem. Not excusing him, but it does play a part. Now that he's had both knees trashed, it's much more difficult to move quickly the way Kareem does (or did). Forget the Skyhook - only 1 player in the Universe can do it at all, let alone well - KAJ. Bynum tried it a 'few' times in games - a no-go.

Other than that, it seems to me that Bynum just wants to go out and 'play' without having his basketball-daddy watching. On Kareem's side, perhaps Kareem is frustrated and realizes that after a few years, a player begins to mold into his basketball character, and Bynum hasn't really acquired what Kareem did 'naturally' (at UCLA, even before the NBA, and right at the start of his NBA career).

But Bynum shouldn't just 'rain' at clubs - he needs to go out and have 'some' coach help him with his post-up move. If he rejects one of the greatest ever to coach him, who else can he turn to? Kobe sought out Hakeem Olajuwon, just for learning a few good moves. Bynum should do the same ... is he gonna figure things out for himself? Think not.

I like how you ignore my point about ...

BTW: Wasn’t it Kobe Bryant who said (even prior to acquiring Pau Gasol) that the Lakers were a championship team when Andrew Bynum is in the lineup? In case you don’t remember, it was January 15, 2008, after the Lakers beat Seattle.

These reporters are putting meaningless shit out there. Kareem is and will always be part of the Laker Organization. This fagget reporter wants to get a little fame by spreading poison.

Yeah the reason Kobe wanted Jasn Kidd for bynum was they had no point guard. Fisher came at the start of the season, before they even considered
him.
Kobe was already considering Kwame as bad as he was over Bynum. Because he lacks power.

Yup I remember that game too. When Kobe scored like 50+ and hit the game winner with like a second left. I think it was Ireland who did the interview.

"Kobe smelled him out 2 years ago but backed off because managment said to leave him alone.:"

Yea, because if management had listened to Kobe, we would've gave Bynum up for an over the hill Jason Kidd...Yea, that would've been much better. Can you sense the SARCASM??

Face it Raja Bell, management no longer listens to Kobe. The Lakers called Kobe's bluff when Kobe said he wanted to be traded (remember the Lakers looked for offers) and now Kobe has played nice and has shut up when it comes to management decisions.

Of couse Raja Bell over there was going to be over this article. He too seems to be a Kobe-only fan. Why he refuses to show support for the rest of the Lakers is beyond me? Real Laker fans support everyone who wears the purple and gold.

You need to take off those Kobe-only eyeglasses you have on. NO WHERE in the article does it say Byunum asked "Kareem to stop teaching him everyday". All it said is that they aren't going to together everyday. Bynum himself said they are still going to workout together and watch film together.

Quit trying to portray a negative picture of this. Bynum is a Laker, support him..oh wait, I forgot, you're a Kobe-only fan - you only support Kobe.
