they would probably go undefeated if they brought bird out of retirement and made him 12th man so he could wave that towel on the bench

Am I the only one who thinks that Phil is keeping Pau out on purpose because of the heavy mintues played last season? Watch during the season as Ron-Ron will get more of Pau's minutes so he'll be at full speed for this year's b2b championship run.

Very bad news guys, Kareem Abdul Jabbar has leukemia. This is very bad news, but he says he can lead a normal life as he manage it with the medications he is taking. He was diagnosed with it on December.

We as Laker fans wish him the best of luck.

It was nice to see the bench step up last night! Mbenga!!! Shannon had a great second half and most of the bench players have been playing much better the last few games. Hopefully they can keep it up. But even more important, hopefully Pau and Andrew will be back Thursday night so we can stomp all over Steve Nash and then show Mello who is the real MVP on Friday.

You are right! I'm surprised I didn't remember it when I was writing the article, but I definitely recall that game as it was their second loss of the season and Lakers were up by 15 in the 4th....So that's 7 games, and if things went the Lakers' way in those games, then their record could have been 72-10....
