do u guys think it was a foul on kobe for a lil push on rodriguez??????????

    • 09champs! says:

yeah man it was a foul, i am so pissed they didnt call it. :/ Cmon man, you know it wasnt , in the last seconds, a referee is not supposed to determine a game with a foul call unless its too obvious.

    • lakers2000 says:

      Nope. Good screen. Helluva shot!

    • LakersFourEver says:

Rod looked like he tried to flop his way out of it. KB barely walked into him and he flew back 3 feet. Then he got burned by the best.

    • pauer says:

I thought so too, but then I looked at it again and Sergio kind of hits his own players foot as he backs up which makes it look a lot worse.

    • U NEVA SAW MJ says:

They don’t call that at the end of the game. Did you see MJ push off on Byron Russell? I didn’t. Hahahahaha

    • Particle Man says:

I watched the replay closely about 8 times and the guy TOTALLY flopped. You see him move back just a little bit but then he starts running backwards on purpose. Watch it for yourself. Besides, everybody knows the refs hate blowing the whistle in the final seconds, so it was stupid of him to flop in hopes of getting a call. If there is anything is more afraid of than blowing the whistle in the final seconds, it is to blow the whistle in the final seconds on a flop.

Man what was that! Did he really make another one? The guy is the best to ever step on a basketball court. C´mon man, its not even fair…. A lot of people say they are not surprised anymore, I disagree, I mean, Pau´s pass wasnt a good one and he still knocked it down with about 1 inch away from stepping out of bounds and 0.1 from not getting it off.
I´m surprised and I am amazed; I just saw a title on ESPN that Lebron was better than Kobe.. really? Lebron has hit 1 buzzer beater in his 6 or 7 year carrer, KB has 3 in the first 30 games of this season.. WOW GOAT definately.

    Kobe- Where Amazing Happens

  4. gugy says:

Kobe is the MVP, no question about.

Just a bit pissed because I wished we did not have to be in this situation in the first place. The bench is just really bad.

Artest, please come back against the Mavs.

We need to step up the intensity. The other players are just too complacent and waiting to be save by Kobe. Come on guys.

The definition of greatness. Kobe Bryant.

  8. drive-for-16th says:

These players — I don’t know how they get themselves into those positions, but they do an unbelievable job of hitting shots that are remarkable shots, marvelous shots,” coach Phil Jackson said. “He’s right there with Michael in that kind of breath you look at.”

IF HE DOESN’T GET MVP THIS YEAR THAN FUCK THE NBA

    • LAtimes says:

THE LAKERS SHOULD HAVE A “HOME COURT ADVANTAGE” SHOWING AT STAPLES CENTER ON JANUARY 21 TO MAKE UP FOR THE “HOROCIOUS” ( AS IZZY SAYS) WAY THE LAKERS PLAYED ON CHRISTMAS DAY!

  10. bernzter says:

The man is a beast!!! (I meant that as a compliment!)

How many times has he done this? A true definition of a man ready to put himself on the line for the win. Think about it, if he didn’t make the basket, the whole population of LA would be looking like him with daggers on their eyes but now, the jubilation, the exhiliration, the swagger, the pinnacle of success (for now that is, the first day of the year) belongs to him. To get better at anything in life, you have to take chances and he always takes the chances that are presented to him. Wow… it’s great to be a Laker fan especially today!

Oh and on a side note, I think that Rodriguez’s flop (yes it’s a flop) was a good no call because (here it is) Kobe did not extend his hand when ‘bumping’ into him. So good no call from the officials. You can see it from the looks of the guys on the Sacramento bench, it was a definite no call.

Kudos again for the GOAT, the Mamba, the true King of basketball as we know it today.

No comparisons to James, or MJ, Kobe just makes the impossible possible here… Great job, great start to the year… Now time to party!!!

Unfortunately the MVP selection is voted on by “people” who have nuthug love for Lebron. Personally, I don’t care about MVP. Bring on the ring!
