Artest Ready For LeBron, Pierce Defensive Assignments
Looks like Ron is ready to D-up and lead us, defensively, to victory!
L.A. Times: Ron Artest will receive the defensive assignments of LeBron James and Paul Pierce on the Lakers’ eight-game road trip.
Artest was asked if he thinks of guarding those players as a challenge.
“Not really, because I had those assignments since I was first in the NBA,” he said. “That’s a normal day of work. It’s nothing new, nothing new to get excited about. I get excited for everything.
“Me and Paul, we’ve had tons of battles over there in the East when I was on Indiana [Pacers] — even me and LeBron when I was on Indiana. When I left for the West Coast, I kind of think both of those guys were kind of happy to see me go.”

James is amazingly talented for a 6 9 guy. He is a little big for Ron, but Ron will do well. Ron is built for Pierce and that is who he likely will see in the NBA finals.

Lebitch James and Paul Queerse are going 2 feel the pain on this road trip. I’m not as excited to beat Cleveland as much as I am to beat the Celdicks though. I’m still sour over the finals but I am confident the Lakers and the now alive-out of coma- bench mob will surprise them. Kobe won’t do much again bcuz he never does nothing against Lebitch James but we have Bynumbnutts, Bionic Brown, KaPOW Gasol, The Stinky fish, Jordan Fartmore, Lamar Odumb Kardashian, Fluke Walton, Congo express, and Phillip to take care of business.
