The Lakers Nation is proud to announce that we will have a exclusive interview with NBA Correspondent Elie Seckbach. Most of you might know him from his entertaining reports on YouTube where he interviews NBA Superstars with his “unique questioning style.”

Here’s a bit more information on Elie Seckbach…

The Embedded NBA Correspondent has been covering the NBA since 1997, using his unique questioning style to create entertaining reports that explore more than basketball.

His ability to get interesting quotes from athletes prompted Andy Gray of CNN/SI to call him “the most entertaining NBA reporter out there.” While Kelly Dwyer of Yahoo Sports says: “You’ve got to love Elie Seckbach, Embedded NBA Reporter, for his genuine takes…”

Away from the NBA Elie has covered major news events and has won both a Golden Mike and an Emmy Award.

His reports can be seen on: in Hebrew, on leading news outlets in Israel: “NRG” (Maariv) “Sport 5″ and “Walla”. As well as The LA Daily News & Yedioth (Aharonot) LA.

We wanted to announce that effective April 24, the Lakers Nation will be no more. We will be known as Kobe Nation.

A 24/7 “informative” blog about Kobe Bryant and everything/everyone that revolves around him. We will discuss everything from his life in the court to his life outside of it.

At what famous club was Kobe and Vanessa spotted last night? You’ll know here first! Which ex-Lakers player was left babysitting their daughters, Natalia and Gianna? Let’s just say it rhymes with Ike Vandoherty. Where does Kobe buy his morning cup of ‘Jo? It’s not where you think it is. Oh-oh!

I’m happy to announce the newest addition to TLN, The Nation. What is The Nation? Well its a Lakers based social network. Yeah, we know what you’re all thinking, its like MySpace and Facebook. Not only can you meet Lakers fans but you can also add your own Lakers related photos, videos, and audio. Want to make a group? You can do that too. The Nation is where Lakers fans from all around the world can come together and socialize about the Purple and Gold.

How do I use The Nation?

Simple, just sign up and create a profile!

Then you can invite your friends to join (If you wish!).

After that its pretty simple, but feel free to ask us any questions you might have.
