"Love me or hate me it's one or the other. Always has been. Hate my game, hate my swagger, hate my fade-away, my hunger, hate that i'm a veteran, A champion, hate that. Hate it with all your heart, and hate that i'm loved for the exact same reasons."

So it's a documentary? Still want to see it.

Like Magic Johnson said in the 80's..."Back to Back....Yeah. Yeah!!!"

Big Pun had a legacy?
3 albums over 4 years, total 14 million sales.
Its accurate to say he had a moment rather than a legacy. He was talented but "a legacy" he wasnt.

Is that not good enough? He was also the first Hispanic to sell a million copies.

He had a legacy.

Can't wait for the documentary. Gonna be TIGHT!

wrong and wrong again.
1n 1991 Cypress Hill became the first Hispanic rappers to ever have a Platinum album. And it went double platinum. Since then they've released 10 soundscan albums and 5 underground albums.
They played with Beastie Boys, Queen Latifah, Cube, Eazy E, NWA and more.
19 years and their still killen it. 19 years can be considered a great career that opened the door for others to follow. A great contribution to the game. Not a legacy.

LEGACY: anything handed down from the past, as from an ancestor or predecessor that stands the test of time: the legacy of ancient Rome left many great artists contributions.

Pac is a legacy. MJ is a legacy. Rolling Stones are a legacy. Elvis is a legacy. Frank Sinatra is a Legacy. Madonna is a legacy. Dare I say it but britney Spears seems to be making a Legacy of her own. Many debate that Dr. Dre is a legacy.
A legacy is something remembered. 20 something years nobody is gonna be talking about Big Pun and his 1 hit song.
Like I said. He was talented and had a good moment. It may have lasted longer but it didnt. Thats not his bad but it is the facts. If "I aint a playa I just crush a lot" is whats blazing the charts in 2035 then I admit I'm wrong far in advance. But we both know it wont be.

Regardless if you admire him then cool, I hope you watch the show and enjoy it. I only took issue with the promoters that are making it and how they can throw around a word like "Legacy" so easily.

Eh let's not turn this into a who's-a-legacy-who's-not debate people... Gotta appreciate what Big Pun had done in his time. Still considered one of the greatest artists of all time in the rap game.

We can never judge the lives of others, because each person knows only their own pain and renunciation. It’s one thing to feel that you are on the right path, but it’s another to think that yours is the only path.

I meant Puerto Rican, my bad. I realized it arlier, but just got to a CPU. Seen it on 'Hood Fab' he was.

I don't really admire him, but he was one of the greatest rappers ever. Even with just 3 CDs.

'Capital Punishment' - 8 Miillion
'Yeeeah Baby' - 5 Million
'Endangered Species' - 1 Million

Actually, more like 2. 'Endangered Species' was unreleased stuff and greatest hits.
